Remember Safety is everyone’s job!
The only approved helmets other than standard issue from Logistics are:
1. Morning Pride Ben-2 plus Fire Helmet.
2. Cairns Sam Houston. Model N6A1, leather with shell liner an
approved eye protection.
3. Cairns Classic 1000.
4. Cairns Classic 1010.
5. Cairns 1044 w/ESS Innerzone 2 Goggles, Standard

Kevlar or fiberglass composite version of the Sam Houston.
The only approved footwear other than standard issue from Logistics is:
6. Pro Boot, by the Warrington Group.
7. Black Diamonds.
The only approved gloves other than standard issue from Logistics are:
8. American Firewear Gloves “Sleevemate” Formerly Morning
Pride.
Hoods: Logistics is issuing only one type of firefighting hood.
9. Other hoods are NOT approved at this time
